The Burglodge
This beautiful luxury holiday home, completely renovated in 2020, is located right in the heart of the charming historic town of Mauterndorf, next to the medieval castle. The holiday home has 6 beautiful apartments with communal facilities such as a wellness area with sauna, a terrace with garden furniture, a lounge area (with large TV, spacious kitchen and dining area for 20 people), ski and laundry room and guest toilet.
The view
All of the apartments have fantastic views. All apartments (except Martin) have a nice balcony on the westside of the house, with a view towards the Hohe Tauern including the Grosseck-Speiereck skiing area. Some of the apartments (Teresa, Corrie and William) also have a balcony on the northside of the house with a marvelous view on the castle. Apartment Teresa has a spacious roof terrace.
Lounge
Wellness
There is a beautiful wellness area on the ground floor with traditional and infrared sauna, a large bathtub, a shower and an area to relax. The wellness can be used by all guests in the house, only after filling out the reservation form on the door. There is a small sauna (maximum of 2 persons) on the balcony of apartment William, exclusively for the guests of apartment William. This small sauna has a large window with a beautiful view of the Hohe Tauern.
The Lounge is a communal room with a large TV, spacious kitchen and dining options for 20 people. The Lounge is an ideal meeting place for larger groups, and can be used for any purpose, such as a meeting or for playing board games. The Lounge can be used by all guests and must be left neat and tidy. Due to the location on the side of the house, there will not be any noise disturbance for the apartments. From the Lounge you can walk directly on the terrace and in the garden. All guests may also use the terrace and garden on the ground floor. A lounge set and a BBQ are available.
Design
All homes are modern, comfortable and furnished with high-quality materials, have large windows from the floor and a very spacious balcony or roof terrace. The furniture is from high-quality designer brands such as Rolf Benz, Vitra, Leolux, Gelderland and Artifort. There are natural stone floors, rain showers, box springs or solid wooden beds, large TVs, high-end stereo, chromecast, WiFi and full kitchens with Siemens appliances. All box springs can be separated from each other for more privacy. The owner applied the highest level of finish, certainly worthy of 5 stars.
Media/e-car
All apartments offer a smart TV with additional chromecast in order to watch Netflix, Youtube or whatever you want. There is a stereo system with high quality speakers. You can connect your device through a bluetooth connection or via an aux cable to the stereo system. Take into account the other guests and neighbours when playing music.
For electric cars, there is a charging facility in the parking lot.
